DANVILLE – Wendell C. Brazee, 64, of Danville died Sat., March 15 at home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born December 23, 1943 in Tewksbury, MA, a son of the late Louis and Elizabeth (Phillips) Brazee
Wendell was raised in Tewksbury, MA and graduated Tewksbury High School with the class of 1962. He lived in Georgetown, MA for a number of years before moving his family to Danville in 1975. Wendell had worked for the Timberlane Regional School District the last 8 years and prior to that he was employed for 17 years with the former Compugraphic Company of Wilmington, MA.
He was a caring and loving husband and father and his family meant the world to him. A great friend and neighbor, Wendell would always lend a hand to anyone who needed help. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting and repairing toy trains and vintage toy sets.
Family members include his beloved wife of 41 years, Nancy (Kemp) Brazee of Danville, son Darryl Brazee of Danville, brothers Paul Brazee of Tewksbury, MA, David Brazee and his wife Ann of Billerica, MA and sister Elizabeth Ryder of Tewksbury, MA.

Harriet W. (Minott) Edwinson
DANVILLE – Harriet W. (Minott) Edwinson, 77, died March 17, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill, MA.
Born and educated in Medford, MA, daughter of the late Henry and Harriet (Ward) Minott, she attended Medford High School. A resident of Danville, NH since 1955, she was a former resident of Medford, MA, Wilmington, MA and Tewksbury, MA.
Mrs. Edwinson was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, for thirty years until her retirement in 1993.
A member of the Danville Baptist Church, she enjoyed Bingo, TOPS, and was devoted to her dogs.
The wife of the late Merlin Edwinson, who died in 1963 and Carl G. Edwinson, who died in 1997, she is survived by a son, John E. Edwinson and his wife, Donna of Brentwood; three daughters, Bunnie Therrien of Danville, Brenda Wheeler and her husband, Richard of Epping and Vera Knight of East Hampstead; ten grandchildren, one great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow. Burial will take place in the spring in Center Cemetery, Danville.
Mrs. Marjorie E. (Merriam) Krause
PLAISTOW – Mrs. Marjorie E. (Merriam) Krause, 78, of Plaistow, died Sun., March 16 at Beth Israel/Deaconess Hospital in Boston.
Raised and educated in Acton, MA, daughter of the late Herbert and Carrie (Franklin) Merriam, she graduated from Acton-Boxborough High School. She has been a resident of the Southern New Hampshire area for the past several years.
Mrs. Krause retired from Beckwood Services of Plaistow and had previously worked at Wal-Mart, MicroDynamics, and MaCom.
She enjoyed reading, spending time at the ocean and lighthouses.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne R. and Mary Erickson of Westford, MA, George A. and Debra Erickson of Orlando, FL, and Robert W. Wesinger of Gloucester, VA, daughters and sons-in-law, Jean M. and John Cook of Kingston, and Donna L. and Edward Doucette of Gloucester, VA, 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Calvin Hanks of Plaistow.
Services were held on March 19 at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home in Plaistow.
Hazel Mae Raymond
BRENTWOOD – Hazel Mae Raymond, 90, died on March 18 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, following a brief illness.
She was born on November 8, 1917 in Melrose, MA, the daughter of the late Peter and Emma (Muller) Welch. She grew up in Melrose and also resided in Exeter, NH and Venice, FL before settling in Brentwood in 1969.
A graduate of Wheelock College in Boston, MA, she was formerly employed as an elementary school teacher in the New Bedford, MA school system.
Hazel was an active member of the Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Brentwood, and in her spare time she enjoyed sewing and quilting.
She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence G. Raymond who died in 1994.
She is survived by two sons, Paul Raymond of Kingston and Donald Raymond of Brentwood; four grandchildren, Amanda Raymond; Deanna Raymond; Kathy Schrieber; and Susan Raymond; and four great grandchildren.

Beatrice B. Purinton
RAYMOND – Beatrice B. Purinton 86, died March 13, at the Belknap County Nursing Home. She was born October 31, 1921 in Raymond, the daughter of the late Guy and Vivian Fraser Brown of Raymond.
She was predeceased by her husband George W. Purinton (USN), who she married on June 17, 1945.
Beatrice traveled with her husband until 1961 when she returned to Raymond. She was a member of the Congregational Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She belonged to the Raymond Garden Club, the Historical Society and the Genealogical Society. She spent a great deal of time working on her family genealogy. She traveled throughout New England and Nova Scotia doing research.
She is survived by two sons, Bruce and wife Gail of Moultonborough; Daniel and wife Janet of Weare; two granddaughters; Heather Hewey of Spofford and Koren Purinton of Moultonborough; one grandson Ryan Purinton of Weare. She has four great grand children, Olivia, Alexandra and Natalie Hewey and Noah Purinton Benjamin. She has three sister-in-laws, Cecelia O’Connell of Fremont, Alice McQuade of Worcester, MA and Ruth Purinton of Hampton, VA. She also has several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Norma Irene (Fitts) Seaman
PLAISTOW – Mrs. Norma Irene (Fitts) Seaman, 80, of Plaistow, and former longtime Haverhill resident, died Sunday at the Merrimack Valley Hospital, Haverhill.
She was born in Rochester, September 17, 1927, daughter of the late N. Leon and Vida Mary (Arnold) Fitts. She was educated in the Haverhill school system and graduated from Haverhill High School.
Norma worked as a layout operator and retired after 30 years at the former Western Electric/AT&T Haverhill and North Andover, MA.
She was lovingly devoted to her family and friends and an avid Red Sox fan, bingo and scrabble player. She also enjoyed traveling with friends and family.
She was an active member of the Haverhill Whittier Club and was a fixture on the Board of Directors for the GHECA.
She was the wife of the late Earle William “Buddy” Seaman, Jr. who died in 1983 and her survivors include her children, Richard E. Seaman and his wife Linda of Plaistow, Gary M. Seaman and his wife Margaret Ann of Haverhill, Larry P. Seaman and his wife Sheila of Salem, Deborah Lee and her husband Steven Arthur of Kensington, Melissa A. LaChance of Bradford, two sisters, Shirley Osgood Bailey and her husband Arthur of Plaistow, Natalie Goodall and her husband Leonard of Ormond Beach, FL, 8 grandchildren, William Seaman and his wife Diane, Jeffrey Seaman and his wife Cara, Victoria LaMothe, Jillian and Jennifer Seaman, Justin “JW” Gitschier, Randy and Shawna LaChance, three great grandchildren, Timmy, Matty and Brayden Seaman, a sister-in-law, Marlene Seaman of Haverhill, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
Services were held Thurs., March 20 at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
