    The Granite State South Board of REALTOR®s Affiliates Raise Money for Veterans’ Charities. On March 4th, the GSSBR Affiliates Committee presented the Liberty House with a check for over $3,000 raised from the successfully sold out event GSSBR, Love and Laughter Comedy Night for Veterans’ Charities. The event was held on January 24th at the Atkinson Country Club.   • Sandra Wagoner, 52

    Merrimac, MA — Sandy entered into eternal peace at home in Tennessee on April 11. She was born in Malden, Mass., and went to Haverhill and Pentucket schools. She worked at AT&T in North Andover, at the shoe shop and nursing homes in Haverhill, and lastly at Danville store in Danville, N.H. Sandy moved to Tennessee in 2011 to welcome the birth of her first grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Carr; father, Roland Gurley, and grandparents, Virginia and Edson Peck. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her husband of 31 years, John Wagoner; son, Brandon Wagoner and his wife, Shannon; grandson, Derek; parents, Robert and Elaine Leatham; aunts, Sharon (Arthur) Benjamin, Nancy (Ed) Hamilton, Gloria Crumel, Ruth McKewen, and Uncle Charlie Peck. Also, several cousins, nieces, nephews, loving in-laws and a host of longtime friends.

    Sandown, NH — Jo Ann (Phelps) Hughes of Sandown, New Hampshire passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, surrounded by all of her children at home. She was born in Little Bend Kentucky, to Beatrice (Shepherd) Phelps and John (Cat) Phelps in 1934. Jo Ann was predeceased by brothers, Marcus Phelps, Johnny Phelps, Forrest Phelps and sisters, Juanita Phelps, and Jeanette (Phelps) Vincent. She is survived by brother, Donald Quiggins of Georgia; sisters, Geneva (Phelps) Stanley of Kentucky, and Frances (Phelps) Bratcher of Tennessee who had just visited Jo Ann in September of 2013.
