The Kiwanis motto is “Serving the Children of the World”. Kiwanis tries to serve children and youth using two approaches. One attempts to improve the quality of life directly through activities promoting health, education, etc. The other tries to encourage leadership and service among youth. In pursuit of the latter goal, Kiwanis sponsors about 7,000 youth service clubs with nearly 320,000 youth members.

The Exeter Area Kiwanis Club is celebrating its 34th year of supporting our community’s children. The Kiwanis Club is a community based organization established to serve the needs of the community’s children. As such they have worked with organizations such as Big Brother/Big Sister, Head Start, Exeter New Outlook Teen Center, area fire departments, and the American Red Cross. They have financially supported the Exeter Hospital’s Emergency Helicopter Pad and the Mobile Children’s Dental Van. They are the proud sponsor of the Builder’s Club at the Middle School, the Key Club at the High School, and the Circle K at the University of New Hampshire.
