Michael Badolato, of Newton, has been named Dean of Academic Technology at North Shore Community College (NSCC) in Danvers, MA. In his new position, Badolato will oversee NSCC’s Distance Learning & Instructional Technology and Instructional Media & Production Services departments.
Prior to joining NSCC, Badolato held administrative positions at Middlesex Community College and Berklee College of Music and was an adjunct faculty member at the Boston University Graduate School of Education. He also served as a private consultant in the Internet industry for a variety of clients across the business, nonprofit and educational sectors.
Badolato serves as chair of the Massachusetts Colleges Online (MCO) statewide collaborative of online learning and academic technology administrative officers and is a member of the Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), EDUCAUSE and NERCOMP.
