---- — Sanborn Regional High School Spanish teacher Candice DeAngelis has been nominated for the 2014 New Hampshire Teacher of the Year Award, sponsored by Hannaford Supermarkets. She is one of thirty six teacher nominees from across New Hampshire. Mrs. DeAngelis has worked for the Sanborn Regional School District as a high school Spanish teacher for the last seven years.

Debra Cresta, CMPE, President of Core Physicians, LLC, has been accepted into the MIT Sloan Executive Education Certification in Management and Leadership Program. This esteemed program is designed to help executives solve problems and identify opportunities these problems present.

Exeter Hospital became a designated Magnet® hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the world’s largest and most prestigious nurse credentialing organization, and a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association.The ANCC’s Magnet Recognition Program® recognizes health care organizations for quality patient care, nursing excellence, and innovations in professional nursing practice. Achieving Magnet status places Exeter among the top seven percent of hospitals nationwide for providing consistently high quality nursing care to patients; and among only three other hospitals in the state of New Hampshire to have received the designation.

Rockingham VNA & Hospice announced that they are the recipient of a $5,000 grant from the NH Charitable Foundation. The grant, distributed through the Lois G. Roy Dickerman Fund of the NH Charitable Foundation, was provided to assist the local home health organization with operating support costs.
