PACE Scholarship Awards

PLAISTOW —The Plaistow Area Commerce Exchange (P.A.C.E) held its 24th annual Scholarship and Community Service Auction on November 1st, at The Granite Rose in Hampstead. The P.A.C.E Board honored Andrew Carace of Pest End Exterminators and Pro Law Tech Services as recipient of the 7th Annual Business Person of the Year Award. Andy is an outstanding example of not only a successful business person but someone who truly gives back to our communities.

Throughout the years, P.A.C.E has been committed to furthering higher education and supporting community initiatives and has raised money annually through the auction to support the scholarship program of local high schools and to benefit many other community efforts. P.A.C.E. awards scholarships to eligible students from Timberlane High School, Sanborn Regional and an E. Hampstead/Hampstead student attending Pinkerton Academy and provides support to local organizations. Thanks to the support of P.A.C.E. members and other community members who participated in this event, the 2013 auction was our most successful auction to date.

The Board is so grateful for the many individuals, businesses, and organizations that have continued to support P.A.C.E over the years and appreciated those that were new to the auction this year. They certainly could not have achieved this level of success without the generosity of the many P.A.C.E. businesses and organizations that donated merchandise, gift certificates, and services and the Sponsors whose financial support made this event possible. Special thanks to:

Auction Sponsors were: Insurance Solutions, Interventional Spine Medicine and Pentucket Bank;

Gold Sponsors were: Access Sports Medicine, Larson Tax Service, People’s United Bank and Walgreen’s;

Silver Sponsors were: The Center for Life Management, The Joseph S. Hills Insurance Agency, RMON Networks and Timberlane Glass & Mirror;
