As a consistently top producing agent in residential transactions, she adds this to a growing list of top sales honors including top dollar volume awards in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Award-winning Poet Robert Crawford of Chester has published his newest poetry collection,The Empty Chair (Evansville University Press). Crawford is the winner of the 2011 Richard Wilbur Award and 2011 Howard Nemerov Sonnet Award. This is his second book of poetry. The book is already receiving high praise being called, "a powerful collection of exquisitely-crafted poetry." Flag Hill Winery & Distillery in Lee has been selected by the readers of New Hampshire Magazine as "Best of NH 2012" for Best Local Winery. New Hampshire Magazine is the state's largest lifestyle magazine. It is part of McLean Communications of Manchester, a publishing company that also includes New Hampshire Business Review, New Hampshire Home, Parenting New Hampshire and BRIDE.

Jim Sullivan of Stratham, chair of the Department of Academic Preparation and a professor of mathematics at Northern Essex Community College, has been named a recipient of the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Awards for Excellence, a national honor which recognizes outstanding teachers in the country's community colleges. Jim is also a professor of mathematics and has worked at Northern Essex since 2004 as a professor of Developmental Math.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense agency, announced fourteen New Hampshire Guard and Reserve members nominated their employers for the 2012 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. The agency received 3,236 nominations nationwide. The Freedom Award is the Department of Defense's highest recognition for employers supporting members of the Guard and Reserve. Local nominees include Faith Lutheran Church in Exeter and The New England Agency of MetLife in Exeter. Up to fifteen recipients will be announced this summer and honored in Washington, D.C. on September 20 at the 17th annual Freedom Award Ceremony.

As a 2011 Magna Society award winner, Audi Stratham has been recognized as one of the 106 top Audi dealerships in the United States and a leader in a year that saw the premium car brand achieve record nationwide sales of 117,561 vehicles.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
