STRATHAM - On July 21st and 22nd, The Great Bay Stewards are having a pre-owned art sale at the Hugh Gregg Coastal Conservation Center on the grounds of the Great Bay Discovery Center. So clean out your attics, clear space on your walls, and earn some money or reinvest in a new piece of art while helping out the Great Bay Discovery Center.

The Stewards will be accepting art to sell on Thurs., July 19, between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m., at the Gregg Center. You determine the asking price for your art, pay a $5.00 registration fee and donate 50% of the selling price to the Great Bay Stewards. If you donate your art, the $5.00 fee is waived. They are looking for quality art, posters, framed or unframed, and sculpture. This is a chance for people who are "downsizing" to reduce their collections but it is also a chance for people who are decorating to purchase some interesting and perhaps original artworks.

The pre-owned art sale show will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., on Sat., July 21 and Sun., July 22 . The Hugh Gregg Coastal Conservation Center is located at 89 Depot Road on the Stratham/Greenland town line, just off Route 33.

All art will be removed and taken by the buyer at the time of sale. Donors of unsold works will be called Sunday night and pick up their pieces on Mon., July 23, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Any unclaimed art becomes the property of the Great Bay Stewards.

The Great Bay Stewards are the friends group for the Great Bay Discovery Center and support research initiatives and scholarship in the Great Bay Estuary.
