---- — RAYMOND - What a nice weekend for the veterans in the Raymond area. It started out on Sun., November 10, with a beautiful full course Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings, accompanied with a chorus playing good olde time music, held by the Knights of Columbus Council 6830, in the hall at St. Joseph’s Parish,

Epping. It was a great meal and a lot of fun. A big “Thank You, Knights” for a wonderful afternoon.

On Monday morning, November 11, the Raymond American Legion held a Memorial Service on the Raymond Common. Members of Boy Scout Troop 101 also participated. A big “Thank You” to the Legion and the Scouts for a very nice service.

All day Monday, Tuckaway Tavern had a free Spaghetti Dinner for all veterans. A great meal, with a great turnout of over 100 veterans to enjoy it. What a plate full, I took leftovers home... A big “Thank You” Tuckaway for the excellent meal that was enjoyed by so many of our local veterans.

“Thank You & Congratulations” goes out to you, the people of this great state for defeating Obamacare Medicaid Expansion in New Hampshire. As I’ve been told, over 800 people contacted their State Senators urging them to oppose Medicaid Expansion in the state, resulting in the Senate voting 13-11 to kill it. Again, Thank You! Medicaid Expansion is not for New Hampshire.
