RAYMOND - As I have said before, all State Representatives are also automatically a County Delegate, with responsibility for our county budget. We have worked hard in Rockingham to keep our county taxes down and will continue to do so.
According to the NH Secretary of State’s web, Rockingham County continues to maintain a strong Republican Delegation. At press time, of the 90 representatives, 67 are Republican and 23 are Democrats, with the possibility of one Democrat winning in a recount, where there were only 13 votes difference.
The Republicans also swept the Rockingham County offices: Downing - Sheriff; Reams - Attorney; Buck - Treasurer; Stacy -Register of Deeds; Christie - Register of Probate; and County Commissioners, Dist 1- no election, Dist 2 - Tombarello, Dist. 3 - Coyle.
