SANDOWN – The Sandown Garden Club will hold an informative program important to all residents on “Invasive Upland Plant Species of New Hampshire” given by Douglas Cygan, Invasive Species Coordinator for the Dept. of Agriculture, Markets and Food. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Mon., October 1, at the Sandown Recreation Center on Pheasant Run Drive. Refreshments will be served and there will be a door prize.
Cygan’s presentation will provide an in-depth look at upland invasive plant species found in NH. Attendees will learn about the various issues, NH rules and regulations, characteristics, identifying features and control measures of some of the most aggressive non-native plants.
