EPPING - The 2nd Annual Penny Sale and Raffle to benefit the RA Mitchell Post 51 American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Programs will be held on Sat., November 2. Doors open at 12 noon, and will take place in the non-smoking Bradshaw Hall at 232 Calef Highway (Route 125, across from Telley’s Restaurant) in Epping.
What is a Penny Sale? Buy 25 tickets for $1.00 at the Penny Sale table as early as Noon and place your tickets in any of the small cups next to over 200+ donated items that you wish to win. Winning tickets for the Penny Sale are drawn and announced starting at 5:00 p.m. Winners must be present during the drawing to claim their Penny Sale items. More tickets will be drawn until a winning ticket holder comes forward. Drawing ends at approximately 8:00 p.m. The Penny Sale includes over 200+ prizes such as housewares dolls, toys, and gift items for the whole family and pets too!
There will be a separate raffle for special items that include (2) $100 gift cards donated by The American Legion, gift baskets, wreaths, scratch tickets, etc. The cost of raffle tickets for each of these items is $1.00 each for a chance to win.
And last but not least, there will also be a 50/50 raffle.
And please bring in canned goods and you will be entered in a special drawing! The food will go to local Epping families in need during the holiday season. It will be a fun evening for the whole family! Food, baked goodies, and beverages will be available for purchase starting at Noon. The hall is ramp accessible.
