---- — STRATHAM – The Richie McFarland Children’s Center is hosting a fall series titled, “RMCC Seacoast Talks”, in partnership with Seacoast Rotary.

The next program will held on Thurs., November 7, 6:45 to 8:00 p.m., at the center. Ellen Doller, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist, will present a program titled, “Behavior isn’t the same for everyone – Milestones Matter”.

Do you have questions about your child’s behavior? Do you wonder why your child seems to have sensitivities that make it difficult to smoothly transition from one activity to the next? Do you wonder about your child’s sensory processing? This session will help you learn the Red Flags for sensory processing difficulties and when you should trust your instincts and look into evaluation.

Ellen is a pediatric occupational therapist with over three decades of experience in the field of early intervention. Her clinical specialty is working with children with autism, and behavioral based sensory issues. Ellen’s professional philosophy is “all families want their children to succeed. Every family has something they can teach me.” Ellen has a MS in Occupational Therapy and a BA in Psychology. She is also certified in Sensory Integration Therapy.

These educational evenings are intended for parents and other caregivers raising young children. There will be a brief overview of the RMCC organization and tour of the center at 11 Sandy Point Drive, Stratham, at 6:30 p.m. The talk will begin at 6:45 p.m., and end approximately at 8:00 p.m.
