Thrift Shop Re-Opens

Carriage Towne News

---- — KINGSTON — The Kingston Community House Board of Directors is happy to announce the reopening of the Thrift Shop on Sat., September 7 with extended hours and expanded merchandise. Formerly housed in the Grace Daley House next to the Kingston Town Hall, the shop is now located at Church Street Station, 34 Church Street, Kingston.

The shop will be open Tues.-Sat., from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and, in addition to clothing for all ages, they offer toys, housewares, furniture and gift items at very reasonable prices. The shop will continue to have a limited supply of medical equipment available for loan and some personal care products as they become available.

Donations of clean clothing for all genders and ages are greatly appreciated and may be made at any time by simply dropping items off during business hours or by making an appointment outside of normal business hours. By cleaning out your closet you could help many others in the community. If you have items remaining after your yard sale, instead of putting them at the curb, please consider donating those items to the shop.

The Kingston Community House is a 501C3 charitable corporation, and any donations you make are tax deductible to the full extent of the law; just ask for a receipt. If you have any questions regarding donations or are in need of specific clothing or medical equipment, please call the Thrift Shop at 603-642-5844 and leave a message or in an emergency, contact Judy Oljey at 603-642-5274.

Don’t miss the Grand Opening Celebration on Sat., September 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
