Craft Festival

KINGSTON —The scenic Plains of Kingston will come alive with color, flavor and music for the Autumn Arts and Craft Festival on Sat., September 29 and Sun., September 30.

Over 75 Juried Craftsmen and women from all over New England will display and sell their American made works including Stained Glass, Original Watercolors, Pen and Ink Drawings, Photography, Embroidery, Pottery, Carved Wildlife, Folk Art, Hand Crafted Soaps, Country Wood, Fleece, Pillow-Quilts, Metal Sculpture, Tree Skirts, Pewter, Blown Glass, Doll Clothes, Fine Jewelry, Floral Design, Painted Stemware and more.

Come and sample the culinary delights of herbal dips, maple products, roasted nuts, homemade fudge, kettle corn, cotton candy and more.

Festival hours are Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Live musical entertainment each day.

The Fair is held rain or shine, handicap accessible and admission is free.

Kingston Plains is located directly on Main Street in the lovely and picturesque village of Kingston.

Directions: From Route 125 take 111 onto Main Street.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
