Family Fun Night

RAYMOND — It’s time for the eighth annual Raymond Coalition for Youth Family Fun Night. This year’s event will be on Fri., February 22 (with a snow date of March 8), from 6:00-8:00 p.m., in the gym of the Raymond Middle School.

Family Fun Night started nine years ago as an idea of a youth who was tired of hearing that Raymond had nothing to offer. He suggested showcasing all of the great things and services that are the town has to offer and out of his idea Family Fun Night was born. It is an event that everyone enjoys and at the same time learns valuable information from. There are informational tables describing services that are available to the citizens of Raymond, both young and old alike. The Recreation sports are represented, as well as health facilities, service agencies and youth and family programs to name a few. All the tables are asked to offer information and a fun activity or prize raffle to attract participants.

There is room for twenty-five agencies, providers and establishments to share information about their services and programs. This is a great opportunity to inform the community of Raymond about the many great things available in the area and raise awareness of available services. In an effort to cut down on costs, they are asking for a $35.00 donation per table. If you would like to participate, email Steve Michelson, program coordinator at smichelson@rcfy.org.
