Veterans Open House

KINGSTON - In celebration of their 66th anniversary, and in observance of Veterans Day, the Kingston Veterans Club invites its members to an Open House on Sun., November 11, for a special night where members come together and celebrate their anniversary.

The Club wants to show its appreciation to the membership and to thank them, both Veteran and Auxiliary, for their outstanding support to all Veterans, their hard work at club events and their continued generous support to the local community. Finally, November 11th is a night of reflection where the membership comes together in remembrance of veterans of all services and campaigns.

The Open House begins at 2:00 p.m., with a flag retirement (burning) ceremony. At 3 o’clock sharp, the traditional Veterans’ group photos are scheduled to be taken. A complete complimentary buffet will follow at 4:00 p.m.

The club boasts a membership of former airmen, marines, sailors and soldiers both enlisted and officer. One of the objectives of the Kingston Veterans Club is to

Establish and perpetuate good fellowship amongst its members and the community. Any veteran who is not a member is cordially invited to the Open House. Make plans to be there.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
