Senior Citizen Prom

PLAISTOW — A group of Timberlane Regional High School seniors will host a Prom for Senior Citizens that live in the four towns of the Timberlane district.

The prom is taking place on Sat., February 8, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria (snow date Sun., February 9).

There will appetizers and desserts, dancing, music, and entertainment provided, all completely free for guests.

Seniors may wear their party attire (formal wear is welcome).

Planning for this event began in October, when Nicole Dill approached Joey Mancinelli and Kayla Gaudet with the idea for the prom.

Over the past few months, the three students along with faculty members as well as the Recreation Directors of the four towns have met and planned the event.

The Recreation Departments for the four towns in the Timberlane district have not only helped with the planning, but have made contribution and materials to help make this prom a reality.

Many of the contributions to the prom have been donations from local businesses.

The students are very excited for the prom and are hoping this event becomes an annual event held by the school.

If you would like to attend the event or need more information please call your town: Atkinson (362-5531), Danville (382-8253 ext 2), Plaistow (382-5200 ext 18), Sandown (887-1872).
