Pizza Bowl Fundraiser

EXETER —The Exeter Area Kiwanis Club is happy to announce that they will be presenting the third annual Kiwanis Pizza Bowl. This is a fundraiser for local children’s charities and programs. Do you like pizza? Do you like a variety of pizzas? Do you like new and exotic pizzas? Do you, your friends, and family agree on who makes the best pizza in the Exeter area? Well for only $10.00 per adult, and $5.00 for people 6-12 years, you can eat all the pizza you want, from many local pizzerias, all on one place. Children under six years old and accompanied by an adult will be admitted for free.

The Exeter Area Kiwanis Club is sponsoring the “third annual Kiwanis Pizza Bowl” to raise much needed funds for local children’s charities and programs. Many of your favorite local pizzerias will be supplying nearly 150 pizzas; you get to eat all the pizza you want and taste for yourself who makes the best pizza in the Exeter area. Local children’s charities will receive the proceeds from the event. So please plan on coming to the “third annual Kiwanis Pizza Bowl” for this fun, filling, family fundraiser. You loved it last year. It will be even better this year.

Pizzerias agreeing to participate thus far this year include; New England House of Pizza, Shooter’s Pub, and Pizza Academy, all from Exeter. From Stratham will be Mama Lena’s Pizzeria and Shaws Supermarket. Jeremey’s Pizzeria & Deli from Newmarket and Fremont Pizzeria from Kingston will be there. Zacky’s Pizzeria from Epping will also be making a return appearance. There is space available for a few more interested pizzerias.

The Kiwanis Pizza Bowl will take place on Sat., January 25, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Cooperative Middle School in Stratham. Come early and eat often. Come and taste the best pizzas in the Exeter area.

(Betit) and Alfred Robidoux, originally of Quebec, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Armand Joseph Audy, who passed away on June 28, 1976.

    Bar Harbor, ME — Francis M. Lurvey passed away Sunday, June 22, in Bar Harbor, Maine, after battling cancer. By his side were his sons, Edwin Lurvey and Steven Lurvey and his niece and husband, Debra and Richard Carey, as well as cousin, Marion McDonald. He was the son of Edwin R Lurvey (Bar Harbor) and Delia Amazeen (Dexter). He is survived by five children, a stepson, and their families. His sons, Edwin and wife April, Steven and wife, Pam, David and his daughter, Meghan, as well as his daughters, Lorraine and Ellen and her husband, Paul DiScipio with daughters, Katherine and Julia, and his stepson, Brian Faulkner and wife, Jody with children, Trevor, Rachel, and Keith. He is also survived by his sister, Sheryl, and many nieces and nephews including Frank Lurvey and Elaine Langer. Francis was predeceased by his twin brother, Frank, as well as his brothers, Edwin and Erwin. He was also predeceased by his longtime companion, Brian and Edwin’s mother, Maureen Faulkner and former wife, Roberta Lurvey Gilmore.
