'Gift of Music'

HAMPSTEAD — After overwhelming response to last year’s performance, St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Hampstead will present for the public “How Sweet the Sound - Celebrating the Gift of Music”, two evenings of outstanding and uplifting music. Local musicians will perform a variety of selections from contemporary to classical, and from gospel to blues on Sat., April 27 and Sat., May 4.

Central to both evenings will be a magnificent concert grand piano, on loan to St. Christopher’s, that paired with the acoustics of the church offers a concert hall quality musical experience not to be missed.

The first event on April 27 is presented cabaret style with table seating and refreshment service.

The May 4 performance will be an “unplugged” acoustic concert style event with refreshments offered as well.

Both events begin at 6:30 p.m., and are open to the public. Refreshments will be available. A free will offering will be accepted.

St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church offers two Sunday services, at 8:00 and 10:15 a.m. and is located at 187 East Road in Hampstead, just off Route 111.
