Worship at FCC

KINGSTON — All are welcome to Worship at First Congregational Church in Kingston at 8:45 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Sunday school is held during each service. Nursery care is provided for infants and toddlers, nursery pagers are available for parents.

A Saturday Night Service is held at 5:00 p.m. at the Newton Campus, located at 5 Amesbury Road in Newton.

Several small group Bible studies meet during the week: Prayer Ministry: Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.; Choir: Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.; Neighbors Helping Newborns: fourth Wednesday of each month, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Newcomers and visitors are always welcome.

Don’t miss the Strawberry Galore Luncheon on Sat., June 15, from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. This is a rain or shine event featuring a luncheon, yard sale, craft vendors, and free Christian music concert.

Ham and Bean Suppers are back each Saturday night, June 29 through September 7 at 6 Church Street in Kingston. The cost is only $5.00 for Adults, $3.00 for Children.

First Congregational Church is located at 6 Church Street in Kingston. The food pantry is open on Tuesdays, from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Kingston location.

    Sandown, NH — Jo Ann (Phelps) Hughes of Sandown, New Hampshire passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014, surrounded by all of her children at home. She was born in Little Bend Kentucky, to Beatrice (Shepherd) Phelps and John (Cat) Phelps in 1934. Jo Ann was predeceased by brothers, Marcus Phelps, Johnny Phelps, Forrest Phelps and sisters, Juanita Phelps, and Jeanette (Phelps) Vincent. She is survived by brother, Donald Quiggins of Georgia; sisters, Geneva (Phelps) Stanley of Kentucky, and Frances (Phelps) Bratcher of Tennessee who had just visited Jo Ann in September of 2013.
