Antiques Valuation

SANDOWN – Don’t miss the Sandown Lions second annual Antiques Valuation on Sat., September 29, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Sandown Town Hall, basement level. Devin Moisan is once again returning to Sandown to give verbal valuations of antiques and other neat stuff. The cost is $10.00 per item or $25.00 for three items.

Last year some license plates and an old painting were among the surprise treasures.This year, could it be something of yours?

Mr. Moisan is the owner of Devin Moisan Auctioneers, Inc., a full service antiques auction and personal property appraisal company located in Dover. The Sandown Lions wish to thank Mr. Moisan and his colleague for the generous donation of their time and knowledge to our popular fundraiser. Refreshments (baked goods, sandwiches, coffee and soda) will also be available. Please bring as many items as you would like but coordinators of the event reserve the right to limit the number of items per person to a maximum of three should it be necessary to limit the wait time.     Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
