Women's Wellness Workshops

Carriage Towne News

---- — GREENLAND – Throughout October, many of the area’s best known experts in natural women’s wellness will join together to provide a series of workshops, as organizer Dr. Kimberly Higney puts it, “to combine both new and age-old wisdom about aspects of women’s health and vibrancy that any woman can benefit from”. Workshops cover a broad range of topics including natural self-care, knowing and using your strengths, staying clear in difficult times, intuition, and getting to know your mother-daughter history.

Funds will be raised for Arts In Reach (AIR), a local organization in its 15th year of providing mentoring through the arts to teenage girls in the Greater Seacoast.

Says Higney, “Through AIR, teen girls get to know they have a voice, learn self-worth, and become unafraid to use their talents. Our Women’s Wellness & Wisdom event is intended to benefit those who attend the workshops, and through donations will directly impact the teen girls who are part of Arts In Reach as well.”

Speakers include Rosjke Hasseldine MS, author and mother-daughter relationship specialist, Jane Gee, owner of the JaneGee emporium in Portsmouth, Tish Lewis, intuition expert, Annabel Beerel, author and CEO of the New England Women’s Leadership Institute, and Dr. Kimberly Higney who is a nervous system specialist and wellness educator.

Workshops will be held from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., on Wednesdays, September 26, October 3, 10, 17, and 24, at cardea center for well-being, 390 Portsmouth Ave., Greenland. Space is limited, and RSVP is required. Workshops are offered in exchange for a $25.00 per session donation to Arts In Reach.
