EXETER - Exeter United Methodist Church will be singing on the Exeter Band stand on Thurs., December 5, while everyone in the downtown area awaits the arrival of Santa and the lighting of the town holiday decorations.
On this church’s 14th year, they have invited two special guests to join with them to help celebrate the towns 375th.
Project 9 music students and teacher, Amanda Munson and Megan Hopkins of Oqunquit, ME, will be singing with the church. Megan is the lead singer and music director at Christian Life Church in Eliot, ME.
The bandstand sing along is part of Exeter’s 15th Annual Open House and will begin at 4:00 p.m., and continue until Santa arrives and the downtown holiday lights are set ablaze and Santa meets one on one with each child. There will also be hay rides, refreshments, Festival of decorated trees in the Town Hall, live manger scene, and gingerbread houses on display.
