Need A Ride?

NORTHWOOD —Ready Rides, established in late 2012, organized volunteer drivers for adult residents who need help getting to medical appointments. If you are 55 or older, or have a disability that prevents you from driving, Ready Rides can help with some of your transportation needs at no cost.

Ready Rides is a great volunteer opportunity for active people who have minimal amount of time to volunteer. Ready Rides volunteer drivers choose when they will provide rides - once a week, once a month or once in a blue moon.

Drivers must be at least 25 years old, possess a valid driver's license and favorable driving record. You must have a legally registered, inspected and insured vehicle. All you need to do to become a driver is complete a volunteer application which includes a motor vehicle and criminal background check.

For more information on volunteering or transportation assistance, please call Ready Rides at 603-244-8719, or email info@readyrides.org.
