---- — BRENTWOOD - The Brentwood Gardeners will hold their annual Plant Sale on Sat., May 18, on the grounds of the Mary E. Bartlett Library, 22 Dalton Road, from 9:00 a.m. until sell-out. The annual Book Sale by the Friends of the Library will take place at the same time, at the lower level of the library building.

Brentwood area residents are invited and welcome to donate extra plants from their gardens to the sale. They may be bare-root (in baggies) or in pots, with a note saying what they are and what color. No day-lilies, please. Plants may be dropped off between May 4 and 11 at the home of Gladys Ray, 106 Exeter Road (Rte 111), Kingston – phone 778-9424.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Brentwood Gardeners’ community projects. They maintain several garden areas throughout the town and contribute to other town landscaping efforts.

The Gardeners’ meetings are the third Tuesday of the month at the Pilgrim Church Fellowship Hall at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend, enjoy the easy friendship and refreshments, and hear the programs on a wide range of topics.
