Raymond VIP News

RAYMOND — The Raymond Voter Information Project congratulates Beth Cope of Raymond whose winning entry in the Raymond VIP Voting Guide Survey was drawn recently at Dudley-Tucker Library. Beth chose a gift certificate from Lowe’s. Carey Oak, Store Manager at the Lowe’s Epping location, generously donated the prize on behalf of Lowe’s and in support of Raymond VIP.

The survey was developed for the Raymond Voter Information Project through a grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation with the assistance of the University of New Hampshire Survey Center which is in the process of tabulating the results.

Thanks to all who returned the survey and to the library for accepting returned surveys. If you are still interested in providing feedback on the 2013 Raymond VIP voting guide, or interested in commenting on why so few citizens vote in local elections, write or Raymond VIP at info@raymondvip.org or Box 813, Raymond NH 03077. You may also phone 895-4084 or 244-2027. You name will be kept confidential. Sister towns who would like advice about developing their own citizens’ voter guide are welcome to call 244-2027.

Raymond VIP thanks the many citizens, town officers, town staff, and others who helped produce the voting guide again this year. Raymond VIP has no paid staff and is completely supported by donations. Registered Raymond voters are welcome to volunteer to help make the voting guide happen again next year. Raymond VIP is a 501(c)(3) organization registered with the State of New Hampshire and with the Town of Raymond as a nonprofit corporation. Donations are fully tax deductible.
