St Jude Golf Open

ATKINSON - The Knights of Columbus will be sponsoring the St. Jude Golf Open on Sat., June 1, starting at 7:30 a.m., at Apple Hill Golf Course, East Kingston.

This year’s Open will benefit Carson Nolin and Kevin Bonyer. Carson is 22 months old and has to have infusions every 4 weeks to keep his antibodies up. He also has many severe allergies to many food types and is being tested for a very rare recessive genetic disorder. He has spent much of his time in and out of the hospital. Kevin is 27 years old and while riding a dirt bike last May hit a hole in the trail, landed on his back and is now a paraplegic. There is significant financial strain on both families and we are hoping to help both families through the St Jude Open.

The cost to play in the Open is $95.00. This includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, a steak BBQ and some prizes. There will also be a silent auction. The group will be playing a scramble format with a shot gun start. Hole sponsorships are also available for $100.00. There’s a package deal for a foursome and hole sponsorship for $450.00.

The last several years have sold out early so we are encouraging early sign ups. If you are interested in playing, sponsoring a hole or both, you can contact Don Richardson of the Knights at 603-362-4520 or at
