---- — SEACOAST - It’s outdoor market season again! Seacoast Growers’ Association announces the spring opening of the Exeter Farmers’ Market on May 2nd, and the Portsmouth Farmers’ Market on May 4th.
This season opens with the addition of 11 new vendors from the tri-county area, bringing even more variety to the fine array of choices available to all market patrons. New among prepared food vendors are: Bucovina Cuisines (Epping), specializing in Eastern European meals and desserts; The Green Monkey (Portsmouth), bringing ready-to-eat treats; and Throwback Brewery (North Hampton), adding beer to the local wine and hard cider offerings at market.
Four new farms are joining in: Coppal House Farm (Lee); Live Free Farm (Exeter); Saddleback Mountain Farm (Deerfield) and Coombs Farm (Fremont). For fine crafts, please welcome Jessica Seaton Pottery (North Hampton), The Glass Bead Tree (Barrington), Etta’s Soaps (Barrington), and Just Right Prints (Exeter).

There is also a new product search feature on the home page, giving shoppers a head start on their market planning.
Opening Day at the Exeter Farmers’ Market takes place on Thurs., May 2. Held from 2:15-6:00 p.m., rain or shine, the Exeter Farmers’ Market will run every week until October 31 on the Swasey Parkway along the beautiful banks of the Squamscott River.
Opening Day for the Portsmouth Farmers’ Market takes place on Sat., May 4, in the City Hall lot on Junkins Avenue. The Portsmouth Farmers’ Market runs weekly from 8:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., until November 2, and as always, features a friendly atmosphere and live music.
