EAST KINGSTON — Spend an evening with Dr. Dan talking about one of our most common mental disorders on Wed., May 8, 7:00 p.m., at the East Kingston Public Library, 47 Maplevale Road, East Kingston.
Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is a brain based condition, typically beginning in childhood and continuing into adulthood that is characterized by poor attention, distractibility and/or hyperactive and impulsive behaviors. It is one of the most common mental disorders that left untreated can lead to poor school or work performance, poor social relationships and low self esteem.
Dr. Dan’s Natural Healing Center uses a treatment protocol for ADD/ADHD that involves nutrition therapy to provide specific nutrients to the five key brain systems, increase blood flow to the brain and balance hormone levels within the brain. He finds that nutrition therapy used in conjunction with behavior or psychotherapy can be extremely effective in ameliorating symptoms of ADD/ADHD.
