KINGSTON - What better time to give Thanks than at the traditional, ecumenical, community Thanksgiving Eve worship service at the Historical Church on the Plains on Kingston Plains on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m., November 21, at 7:00 p.m.
This year will combine, as is tradition, choirs from area churches singing your favorite and traditional hymns of the season as well as messages of inspiration from area clergymen and women.
Participating churches will be Trinity Charismatic Episcopal Church, Pilgrim United Church of Christ, First Congregational Church, East Kingston Community Methodist Church, and St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church.
Not many events take place at this “gem” in the Kingston community and, to keep it alive, participation from as many as possible in this and surrounding communities will help to keep this historical “gem” alive for everyone to enjoy. A great time to give “thanks” is to gather together on Thanksgiving Eve.
