HAVERHILL, MA — The Trustees of Tattersall Farm and the Haverhill Rotary Club are hosting our sixth annual “Tattersall Farm Day” on Sun., September 22, from 12:00-5:00 p.m. The farm is located at 542 North Broadway. Rain date will be Sun., September 29.
“Tattersall Farm Day” is a New England-style cultural and educational event for people of all ages. Activities will include beekeeping, wine making, animal and farming demonstrations, storytelling, crafts, art work, pony rides, hay rides, antique tractors and much more! Live entertainment will be provided. Food and beverages will be available. Haverhill’s own NECN meteorologist, Matt Noyes, will be in attendance, to meet and greet and answer weather-related questions.
Admission to this event is $5.00 per adult; children 16 and under are free. There are additional charges for hot air balloon, pony rides, and hay rides.
This event provides a rare opportunity to learn about New England farm life and its cultural and historical influence on the City of Haverhill. Proceeds from Tattersall Farm Day will assist in the rebuilding of the barn.
