EXETER - The Rockingham Choral Society, under the direction of Andrew Gaydos, will present their Concert for the Holidays. The concerts will be Sat., December 1, at First Parish Church, 218 Central Avenue, Dover, at 7:30 p.m., and Sun., December 2, at 3:00 p.m., at Christ Church, 43 Pine Street, Exeter. The concert will feature J.S. Bach’s “Wie schon leuchtet der Morgenstern, Lauda per la Nativita del Signore” by Respighi, several Chankah and Holiday selections, and selected sing-along traditional Carols. The Society was formed in 1957 and has a tradition of presenting classical and contemporary choral works in the Seacoast area. The Choral Society has approximately 60 members from various communities including Dover, Lee, Exeter, Barrington, Rye, North Hampton and Hampstead.
