Meet the Commissioners

CONCORD – Business leaders will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with New Hampshire’s top state agency officials at a December 11 evening reception at the Holiday Inn, 172 North Main Street, Concord. The Business and Industry Association will host “Meet the Commissioners,” a popular networking event that brings business leaders together with many of New Hampshire’s commissioners who interact closely with the business community. The reception, which is sponsored by Centrix Bank, Devine Millimet, Fidelity Investments, Gallagher Callahan and Gartrell, Liberty Utilities and Repsol, begins at 5:00 p.m., and includes light hors d’oeuvres and beverage.

Those commissioners already confirmed to attend include: Nicholas Toumpas, Health and Human Services; Van McLeod, Cultural Resources; Ronald Wilbur, Banking; George Copadis, Employment Security; Vicki Quiram, assistant commissioner, Environmental Services; John Barthelmes, Safety; Kevin Clougherty, Revenue Administration; Amy Ignatius, chairman, Public Utilities Commission; and Roger Sevigny, Insurance.

The cost to attend the Meet the Commissioners reception is $20.00 for BIA and Capitol Connect members, and $40.00 for non-members.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
