'Christmas Carol'

EPPING – Director Elaine Gatchell is proud to present Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”, November 30 through December 9, at Leddy Center’s new beautiful theatre at Verdant Pastures on Ladd’s Lane in Epping. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday afternoons and one Wednesday afternoon, December 5, at 2:00 p.m.

Steve Koch stars as Ebenezer Scrooge in this timeless classic presented nine Christmases over the past 37 years by Leddy Center.

Dr. Henry Ferrell is Bob Crachit, Melissa Ransdell is Mrs. Crachit, and Matthew Lundergan is Marley. Mark Deyo is Scrooge’s nephew, Fred, and Beth Gauthier is Fred’s wife, Mary. Don LaDuke of Litchfield is the Ghost of Christmas Present and Kathy St. Germain of Fremont is the Ghost of Christmas Past. Noah Anzalone of Fremont is Tiny Tim.

Lauren Campbell of Raymond and Greg Dixon of Exeter are Belle and Young Scrooge. Kevin Murphy and Stephanie Johnson of Epping are Mr. and Mrs. Fezziwig.

Christmas carolers are David McMullen, Melissa Ransdell, Beth Gauthier, Bruce Gatchell, Nen Horan, and Spencer Gregory. Crachit children are played by Michael Rainford, Nen Horan, Ethan Chevalier, Kirsten Bornkessel, and Amy Soraghan as Martha. Noah Dever and Tatiana Brown are Topper and Ruth. Kassandra St. Germain is Young Fran and Ryan Dever is boy Scrooge.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
