Advanced Directive Program

EXETER - Do you know what medical treatments you would and would not want if you could not speak for yourself? Do other people know what your wishes are?

HealthReach Community Education of Exeter Hospital is hosting a free workshop called “Having the Conversation: Talking About and Planning Your Wishes For Future Healthcare” to help people address these issues.

The workshop will be held Thurs., May 29, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., at Exeter Hospital, and cover the importance and process of advanced care planning. Attendees will be empowered to have a conversation with loved ones and healthcare providers about their wishes and decisions for future healthcare. Guests will also learn the steps to document their healthcare wishes and decisions using advanced directives.

The classes, which meet at Exeter Hospital, are free of charge but registration is required to reserve your space. For more information or to register please call the Exeter Hospital Information and Referral Center at 580-6668.
