Silent Auction

ATKINSON - This year, Community Crossroad’s 11th Annual Silent Auction extravaganza sponsored by Enterprise Bank, Salem, and Life Visions is guaranteed to be a sold out event. The event will take place at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham, on Thurs., May 8, from 5:00 -10:00 p.m. The ticket price includes a wine tasting from 5:00-6:00 p.m., courtesy of “The Imported Grape”, followed by a full buffet dinner.

In addition, “Bay Road” will be performing. This 5-piece band will provide soft, soothing music as you peruse through the array of auction items. DJ Rob Frye will be the master of ceremonies for the 4th year in a row.

The ever so popular live auction of the all-inclusive private dinner for 6 at Searles Castle valued at $2,000.00 and generously donated by Searles Castle. Along with a multitude of auction items, there will be many exciting and unique raffles. Some of the past year’s highlights include a Lighthouse Dinner for four, signed sports memorabilia and the amazing wine table. This is just a small preview of the items available to bid on during the evening.

You are welcome to participate in celebrating their 11th Annual Silent Auction by donating items or services, purchasing ad space in the event program, or by becoming an event sponsor. Please remember that all proceeds from our fundraising event go directly to provide support..

    LAWRENCE — Marie Rose (Robidoux) Audy, passed away at her home surrounded by her family, after suffering a stroke in April. She was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Rose A. (Betit) and Alfred Robidoux, originally of Quebec, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband of 28 years, Armand Joseph Audy, who passed away on June 28, 1976.

    Bar Harbor, ME — Francis M. Lurvey passed away Sunday, June 22, in Bar Harbor, Maine, after battling cancer. By his side were his sons, Edwin Lurvey and Steven Lurvey and his niece and husband, Debra and Richard Carey, as well as cousin, Marion McDonald. He was the son of Edwin R Lurvey (Bar Harbor) and Delia Amazeen (Dexter). He is survived by five children, a stepson, and their families. His sons, Edwin and wife April, Steven and wife, Pam, David and his daughter, Meghan, as well as his daughters, Lorraine and Ellen and her husband, Paul DiScipio with daughters, Katherine and Julia, and his stepson, Brian Faulkner and wife, Jody with children, Trevor, Rachel, and Keith. He is also survived by his sister, Sheryl, and many nieces and nephews including Frank Lurvey and Elaine Langer. Francis was predeceased by his twin brother, Frank, as well as his brothers, Edwin and Erwin. He was also predeceased by his longtime companion, Brian and Edwin’s mother, Maureen Faulkner and former wife, Roberta Lurvey Gilmore.
