RAYMOND — The Raymond Farmers Market is Sat., March 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Lamprey River Elementary School on Old Manchester Road, Exit 4 off Route 101.
You can pick up fresh eggs, goats milk and cheese, a variety of meat products including beef, pork, chicken, turkey, duck, lamb, rabbit, sausages, bacon, local honey and maple syrup, bees wax candles, homemade jams, pickles, relishes, salsa’s, granola, gourmet cupcakes, fresh baked breads, assorted cookies, whoopie pies, gluten free breads, rolls and cakes, some locally grown vegetables and beans and natural skin care products.
There is also a wide variety of crafters selling their homemade wares including therapeutic scented wraps, beaded jewelry, quilts, little girl purses, table toppers, assorted wool products, doll clothes, children’s aprons, toys, kitchen towels and hand crafted necklaces, earrings and bracelets, fleece hats, knitted hats, scarves, mittens and sweater sets.
Music will be provided by North River Trio.
April’s Farmers Market, a few vendors will be available at Raymond’s Earth Day event on April 13 at Riverside Park on Sundeen Parkway. There is No market on April 20 at LRES. The summer Tuesday night market begins in June.
