Kensington Rec Camp

KENSINGTON — Kensington Recreation Summer Camp will host five fun weeks for 2013. Each weekly session will include a field trip to the beach as well as a trip to Exeter Bowling Lanes and a pizza party. All themed sessions include special guests, games, activities and water play at Sawyer Park. Sessions are as follows:

Sports and Games (June 24-28): Special features include a dodge ball tournament, slip ‘n slide action, super bubbles, water wars and the creation of the largest hopscotch and monster-sized Twister game.

Arts & Crafts (July 8-12): The newest session as requested by previous campers. Special features include an art show for family and friends, clay wars, photography, painting, drawing and other art activities.

Exploration (July 15-19): Explore all of Your favorites- nature, science, technology and life all around you! Special features will include dissecting owl pellets, spy training, rocketry, candy experiments and a building challenge. This session will also feature elf and fairy house building with an exhibit for family and friends.

Theater (July 29-August 2): Lights, Camera, Action! Participants will perform their favorite children’s books and silly stories with a special performance for family and friends.

Kids’ Carnival (August 5-9): Finish out the summer with traditional carnival games and activities. Special features include plinko, water races, karaoke, sand art, football/toss games and much more!

  • Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown, 66

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
