---- — ATKINSON – Weekly worship at the Atkinson Congregational Church, UCC, is led by Rev. Paul H. Dionne at 10:00 a.m., on Sunday. Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month.

Children attend church with their families; following the children’s message pre-schoolers through the fifth grade attend church school at the Tuthill House. Nursery care is provided during worship and a time of fellowship is held in Lovejoy Hall following the service.

You won’t want to miss “Jukebox Jamboree,” the third annual auction, on Sun., March 17, from 2:00-5:00 p.m., in Lovejoy Hall. The event will benefit the church’s general fund. Creative gift baskets based on favorite song titles, along with the ever-popular Auction, games, the mystery bowl of money, flash rounds, raffles and prizes promise an afternoon not to be missed. Refreshments will be served - all are welcome!

“Walk through Holy Week” will be the theme of the worship service on Palm Sunday at 10:00 a.m. The Service of Holy Communion and Tenebrae (Service of Lights) will be held on Maundy Thursday, March 28 at 7:00 p.m. The sanctuary will be open from 12:00-3:00 p.m. for meditation on Good Friday with a worship service led by church members at 2:00 p.m.

An Outdoor Sunrise Service will be held at 6:30 a.m. on Easter Sunday followed by a continental breakfast served by the Deacons in Lovejoy Hall. Easter worship will include the 9:00 a.m. family service, with music by the Folk and Children’s Choirs, and the Traditional Festive Easter worship, with music by the chancel choir and Atkinson ringers, at 11:00 a.m.

The church office is open Mon., Tues., and Thurs., 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Pastor Paul is in his office on Fri., from 8:30-11:00 a.m. and he is available by appointment at other times.
