HAMPSTEAD – The school year has begun; the kids seem to have grown a foot since June and you had to buy new jackets for them but what do you do with those jackets that they have outgrown? The answer is to donate them at the Knights of Columbus Jackets for Kids Drive.
The Knights of Columbus Council 9058 in Hampstead will be accepting clean, usable children’s jackets for the children of needy families in the local communities on Sat., October 6, from 1:00-5:00 p.m. No other clothing will be accepted.
The collection will take place downstairs in the Church Hall of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, 26 Emerson Avenue in Hampstead.
