Floral Designer at AGC

ATKINSON – The Atkinson Garden Club enthusiastically presents world renowned arranger and designer Tasha Tobin, who will offer a full and fascinating program entitled Masterfully Creative Floral Designs at the club’s open meeting on Wed., October 3.

Currently living in the Boston area and designing at Winston Flowers, Natasha Tobin also has her own floral design and event company, Tasha Tobin Fleurs LLC. Exhibiting both nationally and internationally, Ms. Tobin is a Certified Floral Designer with the American Institute of Floral Design, Artistic Judge for Garden Clubs of America and has led workshops and demonstrated her floral artistry at the World Association of Floral Designers (WAFA) show in Boston this past June.

In addition to several television appearances and book mentions, Tasha Tobin’s dedication to her passion has earned her numerous awards, including the Garden Club of America’s Award of Distinction and Zone X Award for Excellence in Flower Arranging, and the Harriet DeWaele Puckett Award for Creativity in Floral Design.

This not to be missed AGC event will take place at the Atkinson Congregational Church, 101 Main Street, Atkinson, with refreshments served at 1:00 p.m., followed by a brief business meeting and program at 2:00 p.m. A welcome highlight of Ms. Tobin’s presentation will include a raffle of her 12 unique and spectacular arrangements.

    Ft. Gibson, OK — Catherine F. "Kitty" (Clements) Brown passed away February 17, 2013, at her home in Ft. Gibson, Okla., after a brave battle with cancer. Kitty was born in Brentwood, N.H., on April 21, 1946, to the late Chester H. Clements and Catherine F. (Morse) Clements. She was raised in Kingston, N.H., and graduated from Sanborn Seminary. She lived for many years on Plum Island, Mass. While living on Plum Island, she was a columnist and photographer for The Daily News of Newburyport, as well as a school bus driver.

  • Ted "Teddy" Bolduc

    Fremont, N.H. — Ted “Teddy” Burleigh Bolduc, was born the youngest son of Phyllis and Joseph Bolduc Sr., on May 22, 1962. He died suddenly April 8, 2013, after a brief illness. Ted lived for most of his life in Fremont and Raymond. He was well known for his skills with heavy equipment and worked all his life in construction and excavation in the Fremont and Epping area. In addition to his work, he loved ice hockey, baseball, hunting, country music, and animals, especially his dog Finlay. He was very proud of, and also loved by, his very large family.
