PORTSMOUTH —My Breast Cancer Support, formerly known as BreastCancerStories.org, a local non-profit organization that provides emotional wellness programs and tangible support for breast cancer patients and their families in the Greater Seacoast area, will host its fifth annual CelebratePink 5K Road Race & Walk on Sat., September 14, in downtown Portsmouth.
The CelebratePink 5K Road Race & Walk is part of the Portsmouth Community Road Race Series (www.pcrrs.org) - a succession of road races aimed at the cultivation of the health and well-being of the Greater Portsmouth Community.
The course is planned to cross the new Memorial Bridge, loop around in Kittery and return to Portsmouth. Runners and walkers of all ages and levels are invited to participate.
People interested in racing, walking, or getting a team together can register online at www.CelebratePink5K.org. Registration is $25.00 for an adult and $15.00 for a youth. Everyone who registers before August 21, will receive a free CelebratePink 5K t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female runners, the top three runners in each age group, top fundraisers, and the best costumes. Families are encouraged to enjoy kids’ activities, a fun run, music, vendors and food.
