Penny Sale
EAST HAMPSTEAD – The Annual Penny Sale and Raffle to benefit the East Hampstead Union Church Operating Fund will be held on Sat., March 28, at the Danville Fire Association Hall, 169 Main Street, Route 111A, Danville.
What is a Penny Sale? Buy 25 tickets for $1.00 at the Penny Sale table as early as 10:00 a.m. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. so you may place tickets in the cups for the items you wish to win. Winning tickets for the Penny Sale are drawn and announced starting at 7:00 p.m. Winners must be present during the drawing to claim their Penny Sale items. More tickets will be drawn until a winning ticket holder comes forward. Drawing ends at approximately 10:00 p.m. It’s a fun evening for the whole family!
Over 300 prizes include housewares, dolls, toys, and gift items for the whole family and pets, too. Numerous gifts and gift certificates from area businesses will be awarded throughout the evening. Additional items will be raffled off for $1.00 per ticket. Hot dogs, soup, chips, desserts and beverages will be available starting at 4:00 p.m. Ramp accessible. Rockingham Craftsmen Disband

The Rockingham Craftsmen, a non-profit organization, founded in 1966, has recently disbanded after forty-three years.

Volunteers Needed for Relay Race
KINGSTON- The Bakie PTA will once again support the Reach the Beach Relay Race. The race starts in Bretton Woods and ends at the Hampton Beach State Park. The D.J. Bakie Elementary School will be a transition station for a third year. This station will provide food, drinks and rest for the relay teams.
