HAMPSTEAD —Each year, on the weekend before July 4, Hampstead celebrates Independence Day with a Town Fair on the field behind Town Hall on Main Street. The event, sponsored by the Hampstead Civic Club, kicks off with a frog-jumping contest at 3:00 p.m. and festivities continue until 9:00 with a fireworks display for a true “small-town America” undertaking.
This year Hampstead will celebrate Independence Day on Sat., June 28, and, as with last year, the Hampstead Republican Committee will have a booth where they hand out flags to children, and copies of the Constitution/Declaration of Independence to adults. Additionally, they have an “Issues Board” where individuals can express their opinions and concerns regarding the state of America and New Hampshire.
Please stop by to show your support and participate in celebrating our nations birthday.
