FREMONT —Celebrate Fremont’s 250th Anniversary!
Kick off the celebration at the Spirit of Fremont Night on Thurs., June 19, from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at Memorial Fields. Highlights include the Paul Prue Blues Band, 6:30 p.m., Fremont Slide Show, 8:00 p.m., and Cartoons/Movie at 8:15 p.m.
The Official Opening Celebration will take place on Fri., June 20, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Meeting House. The Town Pound Dedication begins at 6:30 p.m. followed by Strathspey & Reel Society who will play traditional Scottish Music at 7:00 p.m.
Don’t miss the 250th Field Day Celebration on Sat., June 21, from 9:00 a.m. -11:00 p.m. at Peterson’s Farm, located on Martin Road. Events include an Auto Show from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Timberlane Community Band, from 7:15-9:15 p.m.; and Fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Games and vendors will be available throughout the day.
The fun continues on Sun., June 22, from 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Enjoy a Pancake Breakfast, from 7:00-9:30 a.m. at Peoples United Methodist Church; Closing Ceremonies from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the Safety Complex; the Hibernian Bagpipe & Drum, from 1:00-3:00 p.m.; Cake Cutting at 3:30 p.m.; Town Photo at 4:30 p.m.; and Cannon Firing at 5:00 p.m.
