PORTSMOUTH —The Portsmouth Community of Mindfulness (formerly known as the Buddhist Sangha at South Church) is offering their annual fall day of mindfulness at the Portsmouth Library (Levenson Room) on Sat., November 2 at 9:30 a.m., providing Seacoast residents the opportunity to practice relaxation, peace, joy, and solidity in their daily lives, and to generate gratitude that manifests as happiness in this fall season.
In this day we shall practice peace, joy and solidity in sitting, walking, enjoying our tea, listening to a Dharma Talk, enjoying total relaxation and Touching the Earth, a practice to connecting deeply to all beings.
The event, free of charge, will take place at the Portsmouth Public Library, 175 Parrott Avenue, in the Levenson Room. All are welcome and no prior meditation experience is required.
The Portsmouth Community of Mindfulness meets every Thursday evening at 7pm at Karnan House (206 Court Street) for meditation and discussion.
