RHS Alumni to Meet

Carriage Towne News

---- — RAYMOND - The Raymond High School (RHS) Alumni Association will hold its annual meeting on Tues., October 22, at Raymond High School in Room 213, at 7:00 p.m. Alumni and friends are invited to attend.

The agenda for the up-coming meeting will include preparation of the annual alumni newsletter, the 2014 golf outing, and plans for the up-coming 2014 all-class reunion on Sun., September 21, 2014, as part of the town’s 250th celebration. RHS alumni who are interested in joining the committee to work on these projects are encouraged to attend.

A highlight of the past year includes the Association’s golf outing held in June 2013 that raised over $7,900 for the scholarship fund. Four (4) $2,500 scholarships were awarded at RHS commencement in June 2013 to college-bound seniors. The Association’s ability to continue making scholarship awards of $10,000 each year without raising additional income has reached a critical point, however, and ways to address this will also be a part of the meeting’s agenda.

RHS alumni are reminded that the Association website is up and running. Go to http://www.rhsalumninh.org. Association bylaws, officers, results of golf outings, newsletters and other items will be posted in a timely manner.
