Fine Arts Night

KINGSTON - On Thurs., March 7, Sanborn Regional High School (SRHS) will host their 1st annual Fine Arts Night, showcasing the artistic accomplishments of many of their students from around the district. The event will take place in the high school’s atrium.

Visual arts students are currently busy developing skills and learning new art-making techniques for the show, and their work highlights creativity and disciplined practice. Drawing, painting, photography, clay, and other mixed media will be on display and a variety of music will be shared throughout the evening. Music students have been performing concerts in school and in the community to prepare.

The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m., with an art exhibition featuring student creations from each of the visual arts classes, and continues at 7:00 p.m., with instrumental ensembles, choral groups, vocal soloists, and a Jazz Band performance.

Guests will enjoy freshly brewed coffee, punch, and delicious desserts. Communities of student, parent, and teacher volunteers are collaborating to transform the high school atrium into an elegant gallery cafe©. This event is open to the public. Come celebrate the hard work of these young artists.
