CONCORD — Season extension tunnel growers and aspiring tunnel growers, please join us on Thurs., February 21, for a day long workshop titled “Making the Most of Your High Tunnel”. This event will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the McLane Audubon Center in Concord.
Topics will include an update on new rules, regulations and opportunities for certified organic producers, a panel discussion on record keeping, identifying the insurance needs for your farm, planning crops in your high tunnel for maximum profits, managing pests and diseases in your high tunnel, and a farmer to farmer discussion. The registration fee is $15.00.
